Rosseti says to invest 21 bln rbl in Central District grid repairs

MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- Rosseti will invest more than 21 billion rubles in the maintenance and repair of power grids in the Central Federal District (CFD) in 2021, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“Rosseti Group will invest 21.68 billion rubles in maintenance and repairs in 2021. As part of the program, substation equipment, transmission line supports and foundations will be repaired, wires and insulators will be replaced, power line cuttings will be cleared, etc.,” the company said.

The repairs in the Central Federal District are ahead of schedule and will be fully completed by the end of September 2021.

Reconstruction of the 110 kV Volokolamsk, 220 kV Oka and 500 kV Zapadnaya substations in the Moscow Region and the modernization of the 220 kV Tsementnaya power supply center, which supplies electricity to Bryansk and the adjacent areas, are among the key projects of the investment program in the Central Federal District.
